The 12 seasonal color palettes
Each of the four seasons splits into three palettes, named for the quality that dominates. Undertone is warm or cool, value is light or deep, and chroma is clear or soft.
Spring palettes
Light Spring
Delicate, warm and light, like early blossoms. Airy colors with a golden undertone and gentle clarity.
True Spring
Fully warm, clear and lively. Golden undertones at full strength: tulips, citrus and fresh grass.
Bright Spring
High clarity with a warm lean. Vivid, saturated hues that work best in strong contrast.
Summer palettes
Light Summer
Soft, cool and light. Watercolor pastels with a blue undertone and low contrast.
True Summer
Cool and gently muted at medium depth. Rose, blue and berry tones with a soft finish.
Soft Summer
The most muted cool palette. Smoky, greyed shades that blend rather than contrast.
Autumn palettes
Soft Autumn
Muted and warm. Sunlit earth, sage and dusty terracotta with no harsh edges.
True Autumn
Fully warm with golden undertones. Spice, harvest and forest shades with real richness.
Deep Autumn
Dark and warm. Deep earth and spice tones with weight, plus a few jewel-adjacent darks.
Winter palettes
Deep Winter
Dark and cool with dramatic contrast. Jewel tones set against black and crisp white.
True Winter
Fully cool, clear and high contrast. Blue-based brights with crisp black and white.
Bright Winter
